I never thought,

that texting could be this hard.

Every letter,

comes with consequences

against a “drier”.

And,

it is a lot better,

than receiving your absences.

But —

having a thousand photos of you

cannot change the fact,

that you were never mine,

to begin with.

It is what it is.

So close yet so far

Or maybe,

it was never close.
