Love was nothing but an aching despair, Heart beating for the jolly show, If only you were enough to care.
Rosy cheeks blushed through lens flare, Bumped shoulders that curled my toe, Love was nothing but an aching despair.
Those shades of brown that seem so rare, Parted hair that never seems to grow, If only you were enough to care.
Another jewel, need I to compare, Sweet flatter none for me although; Love was nothing but an aching despair.
December was none like May's air, Yet it was still too warm to snow, If only you were enough to care.
Through rainy days I see you there, God gave my heart someone who goes, Is love something that I would fair? If only you were enough to care.
