In my quiet world of doubts and fears,
A little spark hid, soaked in tears.
But a challenge came, a call to try,
To step out, spread wings, reach the sky.
The stage, like life, a place unknown,
Anxious whispers, a crowd to be shown.
Yet inside me, a small voice grew,
Said, "Face the fear, see what you can do."
People watching, faces all around,
Curious eyes, waiting for a sound.
With shaky words and a nervous beat,
I stood before them, on trembling feet.
Words, like butterflies, escaped my chest,
Painting stories, fears finally addressed.
The applause, a thunderous rain after drought,
A melody of courage, wiping self-doubt.
Afterward, on the stage so bare,
I felt different, like I'd grown aware.
Facing fear had changed something in me,
A timid soul discovering bravery.
