Icarus

by aisy

Dear boy,

How does your flight feel?

Is it warm just like mother's bosom

Or the embrace of the ocean

Welcome you more?

Does it elicit more joy than life will?

To be free in transient and evermore,

Wrapped in the stygian sea,

Does the peace cuff you sore?

Without any coin for you,

Do they welcome you there?

Will Sirius walk with you

Or is Forlorn still engraved on you?

Burning wings come to me,

Liberate me here to the Styx,

Etched your liberation like a scar,

Mark me as Icarus, your other fallen star.
