Philophobia

By Eden Michelle Sinclair

Why are you complicated, dear heart?

Fighting with fear for the future,

Forgetting phobia of the past,

Yet you still tear yourself apart.

I see. A new person. Again.

Because of you, I have to see him walking in my space,

I tried to remove him and remind you

It's all a wild goose chase,

One day another heartbreak will put you into your place.

But no, you're stubborn. Oh, so stubborn.

So what if his Athena-like brain enthralls you,

His.. way of weaving his golden fleece of words makes you warm,

And oh.. how gentle he is to your storm.

how could I ever blame you though,

Because love makes you stupid, no?
