By Eden Michelle Sinclair
Your lizard tongue twists the truth,
God knows what your heart hid away,
Kept your voice high so mine can stay low,
Of deceptions galore and light becomes hallow
Eyes missed your little games,
Took a step back and paid some mind,
Temples scrunched and eyes go wide,
I just realized everything's in flames
Resentment too dilute an emotion,
Red wine boiling in my body,
Profane words leave my tongue,
The damage has proved its finality
Author’s Note: Don’t you just hate it when people take advantage of your weakness?
