SEOUL, 26th September 2024: Following Source Music's confirmation on September 24, GFRIEND fans BUDDY are filled with excitement as the former Korean idol group gears up for a long-awaited reunion to celebrate their 10th debut anniversary in January 2025.
Source Music stated, “In January of next year, GFRIEND plans to greet fans with a project to celebrate their 10th debut anniversary. The members’ wishes to give a precious memory to BUDDY (GFRIEND’s official fan club) came together to successfully realize this project. Please show lots of anticipation and support.”
After a successful six-year career, GFRIEND officially disbanded in May 2021, following the release of their last title track, "MAGO." Since their split, Sowon, Yuju, and Yerin have been pursuing their individual careers, while Umji, SinB, and Eunha joined BPM Entertainment and re-debuted as a trio in the new girl group VIVIZ.
