Match Made in Heaven: Elemental Review

You know what? First of all, I love the feeling when we finish watching a movie, and it gives this feeling where suddenly your whole day feels so much better. It was because the movie was so phenomenal, inspiring, and amazing. I felt it once again when I was watching this movie. I mean, the storyline was wonderful, and the movie itself was so cute considering all of the characters were elements!

This movie features different types of elements, such as fire, water, earth, and air, trying to live harmoniously in the same city. They do not match and will never be; hence, they believe that water should only be with water, fire should just be with fire, and so on. It was impossible for any of the elements to mix, just like what we understood in the real world.

However, everything begins to change when one of the elements, fire, called Ember, meets a water guy named Wade. They meet in her father’s fire shop, where things made out of fire are sold. Ember has a bit of a temper, and she faces a situation where she urgently bursts out, resulting in water leaks in her father’s shop. She tries to fix it, but still, it persists. It turns out the dam in her city is broke, and she must find a way to fix it, as her father’s shop was threatened to be closed down as it was running without any permit.

Ember and Wade begin to know each other more and more since then, and they fall in love. But remember? Ember is fire, and her lover, Wade, is made out of water. They know it is impossible for them to unite. Fire and water do not mix, like, ever. But they then try to hold hands a little and end up sizzling. They got so happy as they thought it would not be possible, but somehow they made it. Well, there is something more from the plot that I should not tell you, so make sure to watch it to enjoy for yourself!

Oh, I also learned that this movie shows how important it is to embrace the differences between each other. You and your partner might have many differences, like money, status, and background, but that shouldn't stop both of you from loving each other. Find ways to solve conflicts because your partner is more important than your ego. If you love them, should you not fight for them until the end? Well, I think that is what love is. Try your best for the people you love. And yup, I am talking about married couples. Do not do nasty things, people!

And lastly, it has made me realise how precious father-daughter relationships are. It taught me to be even more grateful to have someone who loves me so dearly, which is my father. Ember and her father had such a wonderful relationship that they valued each other the most. I know some might not have such a lovey-dovey relationship with their father and feel awkward with them, but who knows? Maybe it is time to forgive them and try to be closer. Do something you would not regret.

Hence, that is all from me this time, adios people!
