KUCHING, 12 August 2023: Sarawak’s Tourism, Creative Industry, and Performing Arts Minister Dato Sri Haji Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah announced the official lineup of performers for the Borneo Sonic Music Festival (BSMF), featuring legendary KPOP acts Taeyang of Bigbang, 2NE1 CL, SNSD Hyo, and EXO’s leader Suho.
The announcement was made in a press conference at the Ministry’s Office last Thursday, August 10. International and local artists that are also included in the lineup are Fatman Scoop, Havana Brown, Ning Baizura, Dolla, and many more.
BSMF is the biggest musical event ever organised in Borneo, with the tagline “The Sound of Unity”. The event will take place at Sarawak Stadium in Kuching, which can accommodate approximately 30,000 people. Locals and music lovers are thrilled to attend this upcoming event on October 6 and 7.
