2024 Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair

GOMBAK, 25 April 2024: The annual Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair (KLIBF) also known as Pesta Buku Antarabangsa Kuala Lumpur (PBAKL) makes its comeback this year with more surprises than ever before for our fellow book lovers.


The 2024 book fair is being held at the usual place which is in the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL) starting from the 24th of May until the 2nd of June 2024 and starting from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. every day.






Many exciting activities will be held throughout the event.


Many prominent publishers are participating in this festival such as Hilal Asyraf Resources, Patriots Publishing, Hamare Group, Fixi, Kadokawa Gempak Starz, PTS Media Group, and many more. These publishers have books ranging from several different types of categories and genres. Moreover, there are also other types of booths opened during the book fair such as the Mobile Legends and Amanz Network booths.

As with every KLIBF, the book fair will be filled with various activities every day for all visitors to enjoy alongside bookselling. Some of the activities included are new book launches, seminars, forum discussions, meet-and-greet sessions with the book writers, and many more are all available for the book lovers to enjoy. In addition, Muslim visitors who need to perform salah may easily do so at the book fair as the venue is equipped with a large praying room which is also known as Surau ar-Rahman WTCKL.

The book fair was filled with thousands of visitors on its first day and will continue in the following days ahead. This shows that the reading spirit and love for books among Malaysians are still well and alive even today. Those who are planning to come are encouraged to do so before or until the 2nd of June 2024 as the book fair approaches its final day on the 2nd of June for this year.***
