Animals Galore at Pesta Luh’s Petting Zoo

GOMBAK, 16th May 2024: Following Pesta Luh, their subprogram which is a Petting Zoo, is being held at Human Sciences (HS) Square of International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the 13th of May until the 17th of May 2024.

Organised by the Entrepreneurship Club, the Petting Zoo program will give opportunities to the students, particularly animal lovers, to explore and interact with animals and exotic creatures within IIUM.


The Petting Zoo has many animals and exotic creatures that will surely delight every visitor. Visitors are allowed to hold the animals and take pictures at the mini zoo to create sweet memories. Animals like chickens, rabbits, parrots, hamsters and hedgehogs are available at the petting zoo. Additionally, there are also exotic creatures such as tarantulas, geckos, iguanas and snakes.

A payment of RM7 per person is required to enter the makeshift petting farm. Those who love to surround themselves with these animals and exotic creatures are encouraged to come to the Petting Zoo.


Other subprograms in Pesta Luh also included PasaRia, Online Competition, Yassin Recitation and Digital Marketing Essentials. All students of IIUM are encouraged to participate in these programmes to jazz up this one-week event.***
