GOMBAK, 10th November 2023: Visitors and book enthusiasts gathered in Kuliyyah of Architecture and Environmental Designs (KAED) Gallery for the IIUM Book Festival 2023, which took place from 6th until 10th November 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Many prominent publishers participated in this festival, including Patriots Publishing, Fixi, Kedai Buku Dr. Maszlee, and Latip dan Keluarga Sdn. Bhd., and IIUM Press. The books are from many categories and genres, such as fictional books, religious books, non-fiction, thesis, and research papers.
Besides bookselling, the event also had numerous activities for the visitors to enjoy during the festival, such as book talks, discussions, and book launching on the mini stage in the KAED gallery. These activities allowed the visitors the opportunity to enjoy the festival to the fullest.

Moreover, there are also exhibitions from Majlis Kanser Nasional, KAED and KOED, MERCY Malaysia, and Hayrat Malaysia. They also provide diabetes and blood check services and thesis proofreading services.
Visitors can enjoy food sold at food trucks outside the gallery after hours of shopping for books and enjoying the prepared activities.

The festival was filled with thousands of visitors and fruitful programs, which shows a positive outcome and signifies that reading habits are very welcomed in the IIUM community.***
