KUALA LUMPUR, 31st January 2023: The Dreamland Rendezvous, a sweet and colourful dreamland-themed event was held in Central Market from 29th December 2023 until 1st January 2024, starting from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. to mark the end of 2023.
As one of the key attractions for tourists and even local visitors, Central Market has long been a popular location for events and gatherings. Therefore, holding this event is a great draw, especially since the theme has attracted numerous visitors due to its colorfulness and aesthetic values, presented through colourful umbrellas and flowers.

This delightful event featured a variety of food and beverage stalls and vendors, including Niki & Haru, Pasal Pasta, Unnie Bakes, and many more. There were also fashion-focused vendors like Akiqlo, DRetroClothz, as well as The Ciks, and arts and handcraft-focused vendors such as Craft Drews, Sixteen Beads, and Yuyun Studio.
Beauty-focused vendors like Larimar, Hanaa Beauty, De Vice Skincare, and Yuniku Skincare also participated in this event, and many more. It was an excellent opportunity for these vendors to promote their businesses to the public at large.
The event organiser also prepared different performances for each day to enlighten the event more. For the first day, 29th December 2023, the performances included Ritma Sore Buskers and DJ Xes Xes Loveseat. The following day, the same performances were performed by the two mentioned buskers and DJ, with the addition of Dreamland Pound, a performance dedicated to this event specifically. Locco Malaysia performed for the whole 4-day event.
Then, on 31st December 2023, Central Market became more lively with another dance performance; featuring Locco Malaysia, along with a New Year countdown party with DJ Bambi, one of the most popular and prominent Malaysian DJs.
On the final day, 1st January 2024, they successfully closed the event performance session with a performance from Locco Malaysia. These performances made the event more lively and entertaining as if those involved in this event were really on their way to their own dreamlands!

“I just love how colourful this event is! It is both so fun and entertaining. Central Market should [hold] more events with this kind of theme, and I will definitely come here running,” said one of the regular visitors to Central Market, Nur Fatirah.
Another visitor, Muhammad Zamri, also added his opinion on the event: “Although this event is quite different from the previous one, the coffee-focused one, I admit that this event is more happening in terms of the decorations, promotions, and vendors. I love the good vibes and will continue to join events like this in the future.”
Overall, being a part of this lovely event, which was one of the biggest held in the Central Market, was a delightful and wonderful experience. The Central Market will be hosting many more events soon; be sure to go and enjoy them!
