GOMBAK, 17th November 2023: Three eventful days of the Festival Week on Asia 2023 at Human Science Square, held by the Political Science Students Association (POSSA), witnessed a massive crowd of audiences delving into the diversity of cultures in Asia with enthusiasm and vigour.

Visitors were enlightened about the specificity of the cultural customs, geography, and language of the participating Asian representatives.

Many enlightening activities were provided to feed the curiosity of those who came to the booths. Among them, for example, was tongue-twister in Thai, in which the exhibitor first taught the visitors the pronunciation, making it a fun activity to learn more about our neighbouring country's language.

At the Sabah booth, the audience could participate in a quiz that required them to fill in the blanks for Sabahan songs and learn how and where to use the Sabahan slang, bah.

Cute gifts and freebies were also given away, attracting the audience to participate in the activities. For example, at the Sabah booth, visitors will get a taste of Sabah’s traditional snack, amplang. Meanwhile, visitors are given keychains at the Sarawak booth. At the Thailand booth, visitors were given a chance to have their names written in Thai.
