GOMBAK, 21st November 2023: The BENL Chronicle (TBC) mainboards bonded over food and sports during TBC Bonding Day, which was held at KL East Mall and The Veo KL East on 17th November 2023.
TBC Bonding Day was organised with the aim of having the mainboards become acquainted with one another as TBC is newly established early this year. With members of various ages ranging from first to final-year students, it is essential to get to know one another more profoundly to foster a positive working space.
The bonding day began with having lunch together at Sopoong. Sitting down together, the mainboards were able to converse without the intervention of work matters, allowing them to get acquainted with each other.
After lunch, the mainboards played badminton together at The Veo KL East's badminton court, arranged by the advisor of TBC, Dr Homam.
At the end of the day, the members sat down together and discussed crucial matters about TBC to perfect and resolve any arising matters before dispersing.
The editors-in-chief, managing editors, website managers, and social media managers were among those who attended the programme.
The success of the bonding day led to a suggestion of another bonding day that includes all TBC members. Building comradeship among the members to promote a healthy environment for creative writing has been one of the most essential aims in the creation of this digital platform.
The BENL Chronicle was first established in early 2023 as the first BENL student-writing blog under the Secretariat of English Language and Literature (ELITS). It aims to foster creativity, writing skills, and the exploration of knowledge.
