TERENGGANU, 27th November 2023: Terengganu, a state on the east coast of Malaysia, was hit by severe flooding last week after incessant and torrential rain.

According to the latest TERENGGANU bulletin, the flood situation is improving. By 8 am this morning, 225 evacuees representing 49 families had been accommodated in five relief centres in four districts.
According to the Terengganu State Disaster Management Committee (JBPN), 112 victims from 25 families are still sheltering at a relief centre in Besut, while another 54 victims from 12 families are still staying at a centre in Kuala Terengganu.
In Dungun, 50 evacuees from ten families are still being accommodated in two centres, while in Setiu, only nine victims from two families are being accommodated in the SK Kampung Rhu Sepuluh centre.
