PUTRAJAYA, September 22, 2023: Two people were killed and six injured in an accident on Persiaran Utara, where a truck crashed into multiple vehicles, including a police motorcycle, on September 20.
The incident was captured on closed-circuit television (CCTV). It shows multiple vehicles were stopped on the highway to allow room for a police convoy for the upcoming Le Tour de Langkawi (LTdL) when a truck drove several of them into a collision from behind.
The truck attempted to change lanes but failed to brake on time, resulting in a crash into six cars, three motorcycles, a police outrider’s motorcycle, a lorry, and a trailer.
