Gombak, 8th April 2024: A volunteering program was held by UMission Club IIUM in their efforts to help those who are in need of preparation during Eid al-Fitr, especially the workers of Daya Bersih SDN BHD (DBSB) on 4th April, last Wednesday. HOPE or Helping Other People Eat is UMission's Ramadhan series project, in which they will distribute parcel lebaran among 50 Daya Bersih workers around lIUM.

Most of these workers worked so hard to ensure that the environment of the university is at the best level and to provide comfort and a positive view from every aspect and every area of IIUM.

The volunteers took out the packaged lebaran parcel and brought it to the Fundamental and Inter-Disciplinary Studies (FIDS) office at the Islamic Revealed Knowledge (IRK) building and distributed those packages to all DBSB workers who had been listed out to receive those packages.

During their efforts, all of these DBSB workers showed gratitude and appreciation towards the UMission Club, especially to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wan Mazwati who had prepared and assisted UMission throughout the programme. Aside from that, UMission also distributed those packages at the EDU Cafe in their second session of the programme.

As for the volunteers, they expressed their enjoyment in every second of their volunteering experience since they were really happy and satisfied to observe the workers' reactions and their smiles. HOPE is not just about helping other people to eat, but about seeking satisfaction and spreading humanity in every inch of this world. During this era of modernity, humanity will strive forward to assist everyone who is in need, thank you UMission Club IIUM.
